In this 3 month online coaching curriculum, professional tennis player Grace Melrose gives each player coaching on topics specific to tournament play. It’s a simple 3 step process:
- Set up a Weekly Time to Watch Lessons (like a private lesson but specific to tournament play)
- Weekly Activations Each week there is a clear assignment to help her retain the information she's learning. She will spend 30 minutes to an hour each week taking an 'action step' to implement what she's learning in the program

We recommend this program for girls ages 12-17 competing in L1’s all the way through L5’s and L6’s. This is for players who have:
- A good technical foundation and experience playing tournaments at least over a year
- A player who is already winning matches in their current level (i.e. L3’s) but have hit a plateau and want to get better results.
(We’ve even had women looking to take their match play to the next level join our program and have awesome results!)
Yes, she can absolutely go through this program with no conflicting information from her coach. We do not coach on developmental aspects of the game (like technique). We coach only on topics associated with a players growth in point and match play. We find that most individual coaches do not have the time to attend tournaments at the frequency a player needs – so our program provides the missing link of connecting what a player does in practice and connecting that level over to competition.
Yes, the coaching methods we use are universal to junior girls competitive tennis and not just for players in the US. Match Play Breakthrough is accessible for all geographic locations.
All of the lessons are pre-recorded in a course style format with a clear outline of weekly lessons. We find that most players have success using this format but if a player wants one-on-one support, there is a VIP option that is available if you qualify.
Online training for tennis might feel “new” but the reality is that whether it’s YouTube or watching tennis on TV she is going to have to learn in some ways through a screen — but unlike YouTube videos where there is no structure to the learning, Grace presents a clear coaching system in order to help your daughter learn the content in an engaging way, and give her clear actionable steps.
